Today we’re deploying an updated subscription model – One that we believe simplifies the process for our subscribers.
We’ve always had two types of customers: First, we have our ‘citizen’ users, who are using the product to keep tabs on what’s happening in their backyard. We also have our ‘Professional Subscribers’: advocacy groups and organizations that need to monitor more cities and counties and need more features like customized alerting and reporting. Previously, we had a bunch of plans that allowed our ‘Pros’ to monitor organizations: up to 50, 100, 250, and so on. While simple, it didn’t offer much flexibility for a Pro that wanted to follow, say, 51 organizations.
That’s why we’ve moved to a subscription model for our professional subscribers that are based directly on the number of organizations followed. Subscriptions start at $2.49 per organization per month and decrease as you subscribe to more organizations. Subscribers monitoring a lot of organizations get additional benefits. You can see more on our page for organizations. All subscriptions start with a free 30-day trial, so if your organization is looking to improve its local government involvement, there’s hasn’t been a better time to try us out.
If you’re one of our thousands of free subscribers, don’t worry, we haven’t changed anything for you. Finally, if you like what we’re doing and want to help support us continue our work to make local government more accessible, we now have a ‘Supporter’ tier. In addition to our undying gratitude, you’ll also get to monitor up to 15 organizations per month as well as some other perks we’ll be adding throughout this year.
Thanks again for being a part of the Voterheads journey! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out, either via the support link on our website or via e-mail at email@example.com.
