Good evening everyone!  We’ve released another set of updates to the site this week:

Featured Topics

If you’re not aware, we started a weekly podcast in November highlighting the topics for the upcoming week that we thought should be interesting to a wider audience.  Needless to say, we’ve been having a lot of fun with it and a number of features, like the addition of the quicklinks search. We’ve also been adding supplemental information to a lot of those topics based on research we do for the show.

In order to make those items easier to access to our subscribers, we’ve now started highlighting them as ‘featured’ items within site.  Now, if one of those featured items matches an organization you’re monitoring, it will show up on your weekly notification email.  You can tell which ones are featured items by looking at the brief explanation below the item:

Improved Login Controls

Who doesn’t get tired of having to log into a website over and over?  I have to admit, even as security conscious as I am, having to do all that clicking, typing, and tabbing when I come to our beloved site can get annoying.  That’s why we’ve added a good-old ‘remember me’ checkbox to the system.  Heck, we even went a step further and finally let you reset your password if you forgot it as well.  Welcome to the 1990s… somewhere an ex-developer from Lycos is proud of me.

Thank you to everyone who has been checking out and using Voterheads! Until next time!
